ubuntu 12.04にtexをインストール

$ sudo apt-get install texlive texlive-math-extra ptex-bin xdvik-ja
$ sudo apt-get install dvipdfmx cmap-adobe-japan1 ptex-jisfonts okumura-clsfiles jmpost jbibtex-base jbibtex-bin mendexk
$ sudo jisftconfig add

とすればOK.

2013/11/1 追記:

ubuntu 12.04以前のバージョンでも, 文字コードにEUCではなくUTF-8を使うことができるらしい.
変更する場合は以下のコマンド:

$ sudo apt-add-repository ppa:texlive-backports/ppa
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install texlive-lang-cjk

`! I can't find file `pplr7t'...

とエラーがでたので, texlive-fonts-recommendedをインストール

2014/8/31 追記:

「grep: ptmr7t.log: そのようなファイルやディレクトリはありません」というエラーが出たので, 以下をインストール:

sudo apt-get install texlive-fonts-recommended
